Rooms have King single beds , ceiling fans for summer, adequate blankets for winter , insect screens, security grilles, desk, lamp, built in wardrobes. Your own key to your bedroom door to ensure privacy.

Breakfast supplied daily, self serve cereal and toast, dinner Sunday to Thursday, NO lunches any days.

Kitchen available for use of microwave, toaster, kettle. There is no cooking due to insurance restrictions. No kitchen equipment to be brought in to house, no heaters, portable air conditioners to be brought in also, there are ceiling fans for summer and adequate blankets for winter, you must dress for the prevailing conditions.

Dinners are high quality, home cooked meals, there is NO supermarket ready meals or cheap pizzas, Home made salads or multi vegetable with meals.

Homestay fee is payable 4 weeks in advance, 2 weeks is held in lieu of notice and then homestay fee of two weeks is payable and thereafter every two weeks until you leave. Receipt provided. This fee is for ONE person, you cannot expect to share a room for the same price as for one person.

Airport pick up for international students , (who have a student number) and if it's your first time in Australia, can be arranged by you through your University. I do not provide airport pick up.

Convenient location within 5 to 10 minutes walk to two train stations and 10 minute walk to major bus station . 15 minutes to CBD by train , short stroll to UQ bus - 12 mins by bus to UQ, 25 mins to Griffith University, 20 minutes to QUT.

10 minute walk to large shopping centre, Indooroopilly, with fashion ,pub, movie theatre, cafes, gym, public library, department stores.

Home is in a prestigious area with walking tracks and parks nearby. Home has an inground pool and nice gardens.

Dog is very friendly.

This homestay is only suitable for students who attend classes every day.


Internet is limited NO gaming permitted. Internet is provided for study and keeping in touch with your family.
