Homestay in Chelmer

Please read as we have few different room arrangements.

We have a self-contained and detached granny flat at the back of the main house. This house has two bedrooms, a separate kitchen, bathroom, a small 2-seater dining table. You will share the house with another person. If you are an independent person and love your own space and prefer to cook for yourself, this arrangement would be perfect. However if you prefer us to provide Breakfast and dinner, please let us know. This will cost a bit more but we can provide this arrangement.

We have one bedroom available in the main house and this room will be available for breakfast and dinner supplied and you will share the toilet and bathroom with my children.
We have 3 dogs and 3 children but we share 3 children with their father one week on and one week off. 3 dogs are not allowed to go to the granny flat.

Our house is located in Chelmer next to Indooroopilly and we hosted many UQ students previously before Covid. Train station is within 10 mins walk, Bus station is within 5mins walk. You will need to get off at Indooroopilly train station then catch a bus to UQ. The train goes to the city and will take about 15 mins ride. The room has a fan and air-conditioning however we ask you use the air conditioning responsively.

Everyone who stays in our houses, welcome to hang out with us. We are active people and 3 boys play competitive football (soccer) so we are in and out all the time on the weekend during the football season.
