About this homestay
We have a room available in a well-presented 4-bedroom, single-story home located in a quiet cul-de-sac in Kenmore. The house offers plenty of space and comfort, featuring three separate living areas, two full bathrooms, and an additional powder room; perfect for shared living without feeling crowded.
The home is equipped with quality European appliances, including a washing machine and dryer, as well as a modern kitchen with an induction cooktop. You’ll also have access to a range of additional appliances, including a Ninja Creami, Sunbeam juicer, Philips air fryer, GreenPan slow cooker, and Tefal pressure cooker; all of which you are more than welcome to use.
We can provide you with breakfast (involving bread, spreads, cereal, and milk). Please also note that upon request, we can provide you with the dinner we make at an additional cost to be negotiated in order to assist us with the cost of extra groceries.
Electricity, unlimited internet, as well as access to streaming services (Netflix, Apple TV+, Paramount+, and HBO Max) are also included.
You will enjoy a safe and secure environment, with security screens on all windows and doors, and a full home security system.
There is off-street and on-street parking available for convenience, and Kenmore, being well-serviced by public transport, has easy bus access to a variety of areas such as the Brisbane CBD, University of Queensland (St Lucia), Queensland University of Technology (Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove Campuses), Indooroopilly Shopping Centre and train station, and Herston (like the RBWH), just to name a few. This makes it an ideal spot for those needing reliable connections around Brisbane.
You will be sharing with a friendly and respectful family; a dad and his two daughters (aged 20 and 18) who are both currently studying at the University of Queensland. We also have two 8-year-old female Burmese cats who are very affectionate and loving. Overall, the home has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great place to live.
