Homestay in Moorooka

Hi,
We are Ruth and Yos . We are an easy going, experienced homestay family. We have been hosting both short and long term homestay students for well over 10 years and enjoy the cultural exchange they offer and we have a big house to share :)

We have a gorgeous 15 year old son, and 2 beautiful and super friendly dogs.
Our interests are: Music, sports, yoga , cooking, movies, reading, bush walks, and nature!
We have both travelled extensively and visited/lived in: Australia, Israel, Canada, South America, Nepal, India, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Japan, Hong Kong to name a few


Due to the nature of our work and our changing hours we have renovated our student room into a private residence for students as we could not always guarantee that we would be home for dinners etc etc

Your space would be an INDEPENDENT fully furnished granny flat with your own private entry, lounge room, Kitchen, spacious bedroom, bathroom, seperate toilet, storage room, outdoor areas for cloths drying , own self contained patio area with seating and a car space should you need it.
This is a private space for you to enjoy.
You would need to purchase your own food and cook for yourself.


We live right next to a trailhead that enters into the gorgeous forest where there are lots of trails for relaxing bush walks or runs if you are a runner.
We have a ever growing Koala population so you are likely to hear them calling to each other at night or maybe see on eon your walk in the forest.
We are a 200 metre walk to the bus stop into the city and UQ.
