About Li Chen
We’re a couple from China, currently on holiday here. I’m Li, and my partner is Jade.
I was freelance and Jade was a primary school Chinese teacher and a human rights writer in China. I studied fines arts in UNSW in Sydney and Master of Social Work in ACAP in Melbourne. After I graduated, we got 189 Skill Immigration Visa. We came to Brisbane to activate the visa. We will be staying here for around one to two months.
Psychology is practically woven into our daily conversations, even though we’re not professionals—our understanding comes mostly from our everyday practice and reflection.
We’re also both hardcore art lovers—galleries, music venues, and cinemas feel like second homes to us 🏡. For us, watching films is a kind of therapy in itself.
