Hello potential flatmates!

My name is Leandro, I’m 26 years old, Brazilian, and moving to Australia to complete my PhD at the University of Queensland.

I’m very extroverted and friendly, and I like to keep my space clean and organised. Hobby-wise, I like to play guitar and sing, and I go quite regularly to the gym, so if you are looking for a gym buddy I can be a good candidate as well! Also, as a personal goal, I would like to pick up a new hobby or sport when I arrive in Australia, so let’s see what Brisbane brings :)

I’m currently based in Exeter, UK, where I started my PhD, but I’ve lived in several countries. I did my bachelor’s degree in Brazil, my master’s in France, a visiting studentship in the USA, and now here I am, looking for a place in Brisbane to finish my doctorate.

My PhD topic is in Optical Computing, currently focused on reservoir computing. If you have any interest in that, we could definitely have a great chat about it too!

I’m looking for a relaxed, respectful home where people enjoy catching up over dinner or a casual chat, maybe plan things together from time to time, always respecting each other’s personal space and downtime.
